Ned rig for a power fisherman

I'm not a light line guy and like to finnesse some smallies/largies... I made these in 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 with a 1/0 2X super strong tempered/forged super needlepoint hook. I wanted 2 keeper barbs to keep the plastic in place... Nothing will float a ned rig better than a ball head as long as there is no lead on the collar to pull it down. I like how this looks like a minnow eating, much better than the other heads I have seen.

Nice shakey heads. Ned and Power fish don't belong in the same sentence.

Are those the do-it wire keepers? I was gonna modify my Swim Jig molds to use those.

Smallie candy right there! Not a light line guy myself so that would be perfect.

I'm going to try a Gamakatsu #1 heavy wire hook next. It's not much smaller, It's lighter and think it may let the bait stand up a bit better. The original in the pics are 2X strong that are pretty heavy for their size. I love the double keeper, But it also adds weight that reduces the plastic bouyancy. The Gami hook is strong, But not as strong as the forged hook above. It might be overkill on this bait.
