Ultrex issue? Have you had any?

I keep hearing guys say they have a buddy that has issues or someone they know ECT ECT.

I want to know how many have had issues themselves and who hasn't. Mines been trouble free after a year and a half. I'm not talking about the noise of the motor or how easy the foot pedal is to control and your having a hard time getting use to it. I'm talking down time.

If you had issues did Minn kota take care of you?

3 issues...2 of them were replaced under warranty with new motors..The last one I received has been a excellent motor....It is a 2018 model...

Issues with the momentary foot control switch sticking after 4 months. Quick/easy fix though.

I had one issue with my foot pedal. The pedal locked up, this was a easy fix and all under warranty. But I understand there was fix implemented in 2018 for that very issue. Everything else has been perfect

Only issue I have had was the foot control getting stuck in the on position. It took 2 minutes to fix. Everything else has been awesome. Its the best piece of equipment on my boat.

I take it back I had one issue. I tried to turn on the motor before I knew it had to be in the water hahahaha. I was like why won't this thing turn on! Lol

correction to mine as well. I too had the button sticking on but it is such an easy fix I forgot it happened to me

Power on button needs replaced, common issue, other than that, super.

the only issue or problem I have had with my Ultrex is that It has spoiled me, I had to operate the front of another boat the other day and he only has an fourtrex, I did not even realize the difference that there was till I spent 12hrs on the trolling motor. Wow!!! I love my Ultrex!!!

Zero issues with mine. Onkybused it from May through November though.

Buddy of mine has had one since they came out and he was down for about 2 days when the cables broke. The minnkota tech got him up and running in no time though. He was only down that long because he had to bring it in.

2 years this June with no issues!! Waiting on new boat to put it back on!!!

Had mine only since this last June. Only issue I had was once it would not spot lock. Ended up just having to turn it off and back on and it started working again. Greatest piece or equipment on the boat.
