There is one on the motor behind the starboard access panel. There is also an optional reservoir that can be mounted onboard your boat if you need or want the additional capacity.

I'll promise you you won't need more oil than the G2 tank holds. As little as it consumes that reservoir is plenty big.

Unless you have an Evinrude G2, your oil tanks will not look like the one Championman posted.

My little Etec 90 has the tank inside the cowl and I’m literally flabbergasted at how little oil it uses!

my G2 uses the same amount of oil as my old Johnson did - but i run the ball sack off of it and it sounds like that's normal.

I am not doubting your experience, but a G2 uses about 1/3 the gas that a carbureted Johnson would have used, so surely that would also reduce oil consumption? You must be running farther/faster now.

That's cool! Do you have to take panel off to fill?

My gas consumption is down 60% - I do make long runs and It's usually running fast - there's very little casual cruising when we are out. No complaints though - My dealer and several guys on the etec forum verified that's the way it is. If it used twice the oil of that old johnson, it would still be 100 times better.

The top panel comes off and you add oil up there.
