Yes, please stay home. You don't want to be out spreading it around if you know you have the flu. Also your body will recover faster if you stay home and rest. Also drink lots of orange juice and chicken noodle soup. Not sure why oj and chicken noodle soup helps, but drinking a half gallon to gallon of Oj and chicken noodle soup will have you feeling better by tomorrow.

I have a guy who has called out the past 2 days and came in today. Said he was gonna leave at lunch he feels awful. He said it has to be the flu. If it the flu and other people catch it I’m going to be pissed at him.

That wouldn't be the flu then. Vomiting and diarrhea are not symptoms of the flu.

Yep then stay home until doctor says. Take care of yourself. The “real flu” is some serious business. Good luck sir.

Next time I get the flu, I'm going to work just so I can give my a$$hole boss a hug.

Stomach flu most certainly is a flu...he didn't specify so I specifically said the one for me.

Do as your boss does. My last boss was a workaholic and came into work right in the middle of having a really nasty flu a couple of years ago. So the two out of five of us that worked for him came in for a day just a few days later when we caught it. And then we were all really stuck playing catch-up for the next two weeks as three more people in the office came down with it......

No such thing as stomach flu. Most of the time it is food poisoning that people call "flu", but occasionally another type of infection. The flu is influenza and not a stomach disease.

This tells me you have PTO and not separate vacation and sick banks. I understand that using PTO for illness is not fun, but for those companies that use this method, THAT IS ALSO WHAT IT'S FOR!!!!! Like others have said, it bugs the hell out of me when selfish people come into work and spread their illness because they don't want to use their PTO.

    Stay home!

What is commonly referred to as "stomach flu" is usually food poisoning or nuorovirus. It is a nasty bug that will seriously put you on your a$$, on the toilet.

I got it right before a trip to Hawaii a couple years ago. Not the way you want to lose 25 lbs before a vacation, but I looked like I busted my a$$ for a beach body. If only they knew I was spraying fire for 3 days.

There is no "stomach flu". Talk to a doctor or nurse.

Weird...you can get it by touching things or contact with another person.
