I agree. Its a nice looking mount but the angle iron bracket and hose clamps make it look home made instead of professional.

Dave has been kicking the idea around for a deluxe mount but it does take a lot of machine time and materials for didnt trolling motor mounts, this is about as inexpensive as your going to get and still be functional at this price point. Its really no different than paying 250-400 for a trolling motor Transducer and using a hose clamp to hold it on,yes they could build a awesome bracket but it’s going to cost.

The fishing specialty looks like a good idea and will work for certain applications but the all aboard transducer mount is a different design that is easy to deploy and out of the way when storing.

Yes I’m working on your bracket. And it will not have any hose clamps on it. It’s going to be a bolt on application

We get it. But here is the reason for the angle and hose clamp design. It’s easy to install. It’s universal. It’s economical. We are going to be offering Delux model that will feature motor specific clamps machined with bushings and bolts and extremely top notch. As well as these. It this mount is the prototype of the base model. The base model with the extended handle is an econimomical model that will put you on the water fishing with a scope to the full capabilities for under 200.00. The delux model will be in the 350.00 range and do the same thing with some frills and fancy machine work.

I agree I would see if you can come up with something besides the angle bracket at hose clamps. The rest of the system looks very professional but that makes it look cheap. Perfectly functional mind you but guys with a $2000 trolling motor and a couple grand in electronics want it to look factory. Maybe you could have a bracket and then adapters that bolt on for different models of motors. Just trying to give some conductive criticism, not trying to bash your design. Or offer a universal mount and custom mount for additional cost.
