Any of the Cirque shows are great. Terry Fator is hilarious. If Gordie Brown is an option. One of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Michael Jackson show was really good too.

Not a lot I can offer but try out a little restaurant called Batista's Hole in the Wall. Great Italian joint with all you can drink wine with dinner. Food is extremely good and unlike most restaurants in Vegas it's actually reasonably priced. Go out to the Shelby museum and shop and see all of the gorgeous classic Shelby's and the new ones being built.

I like the Wynn but a little down strip....burgers and bullets was fun in the desert.....take the chopper to the Grand Canyon....also Red Rock park?....zip line in Old Vegas....you will have fun!
Peppermill is good for breakfast or a late night meal ... it's on the strip, just ask someone.
And I'm pretty sure you've noticed a trend. The good stuff isn't in town, go see things.
The Mob Museum is great. It is walking distance from Freemont. The Container Park is also walking distance from Freemont. Interesting as well. I would plan one late afternoon down to Freemont. Listen to some free live music, head over to the Mob Museum and then go down to the Container Park for an ice-cream.
But I can't stress enough how cool the Mob Museum is.
Count’s Kustoms and the Pawn Shop are two must see tourist spots. Caesar Palace is my go to hotel whenever I am in Vegas.
I prefer Freemont street also. If you are just going somewhere quick to check out take an Uber. Its cheap and easy and you don't have the hassle of getting your car out of the garage and traffic. Traffic sucks in Vegas.

The responses have been very helpful, Looks like we are going stay at Ballys', Rent a car for two days to do some site seeing and see two shows, have not made a decision on the shows.

I would recommend Le Reve at the Wynn if your going to see a cirque show. I’m not reall into them but it’s good I’ve been 4 times now.
Yes la Reve is great!
