Howdy,
Two quick questions:
1) how much are they? The website shows no pricing information.
2) what's going to give more power to last the longest without recharging, two (2) 36 volt Relions tied together or three (3) 12v 100Ah Relions tied together for a 36 volt Ultrex?
Take care,
Ruddiger
2. 3-12v=100ah..... 2-36=60ah Call for prices I would guess. Most of the Bass guys can get by with 60 ah.
I think you still end up with 60ah with the 36, that’s why they say you need 2, there are guys using 3 -50ah 12v, that’s why it’s a little confusing you would think 1-36v 60ah would be good if you have people using the 12v 50ah ‘s. But not the case.
Sorry, I thought I was told before that the new
36 was going to be 60ah. But you would still need 2.
1-36 is only 30 ah. Two in parallel would be 60 amp hours. 3 50ah 12's in series would still be 50 amp hours
does anyone have experience with the lt versions ? I fish power plant lakes during the winter and my boat sits in a carport . From what I have seen the lt series is the only lithium battery that can be charged in below freezing conditions.
I was shopping around and Relion was the only one I could find with a built in heater. Some others recommended an electric blanket! I don't know if you talked to them about it but they told me it would just use your charging current to heat the battery till warm then start charging. It will discharge in colder than 32 but can't handle charging as it would actually destroy the LiFep04 cells so the BMS won't allow it to charge.
