    Registration decal removal

I searched the board and never found a definitive answer on this one. It seems that some of you guys had great success with the 3M eraser wheel remove registration decals. What is the easiest way to get those things off without scratching to scuffing the surface of the gel coat?

It is easy as described above. Easy on the heat, I scrape up an edge (after gentle heat) with a credit card and pull and heat at the same time. What little glue is left comes off with either method described. Careful with the acetone.

Heat with hairdryer and should come right off with effort.
I’ve used Goof Off brand citrus decal glue remover with good results.

I only use an eraser wheel in the shop. You can make the gel turn dark with it though. I take chit ton of decals off.... just keep the wheel moving.
