    Pickwick Trip

Hey guys. Me and another guy are headed to Pickwick in a couple weeks. We’ve never been there. Any suggestions on what type of areas we should concentrate on?

I went there for the first time at the end of october for a club classic. We put in at the dam and fished 2 days. Caught a bunch on that end of the lake just fishing the edge of the grass. Have no idea what its like now after all the heavy rains.

They were running the dams with spillways open the other day. I was out at Wilson Lake today, and the water level was pretty low. They may have been dumping incredible amounts of water into Pickwick. Wilson Dam was closed to traffic.

I'd be in a holding pattern in early Spring to the supply of water in Pickwick. Keep your ears open to how fishing is going then.
