Trying to run a 27P TXP prop...hub kit wont fit.

Finally found a 27P TXP, was told I needed a Flo Torq II, currently using the 2 piece thrust washer. The kit comes with a thick washer that goes in front of the castle nut, I tighten it down as tight as far as I could and the cotter pin hole is sitting low in the castle nut, so low that I cant put the cotter pin threw. Mine did not come with the forward hub bushing, do I need one? Anyone can give me some info it would be greatly appreciated. BTW it said on the box it was for a 1980 and newer. Could a person use thinner washer in front of the castle nut? I'm pretty sure the problem is the new 2 piece thrust washer, I think its thicker than the crappy stock 1 piece. Just guessing
