    Alternatives to Okeechobee

We are coming down Saturday through Tuesday. Have heard about the low water levels on Okee and wondered if there are any better alternatives within a couple hour drive. Considering Istokpoga, Kissimee Chain, etc. Wouldn't mind trying any private guided waters, either. Any advice is appreciated.

Istokpoga is a toilet, they nuked it bad. Don't go there.
Kissimmee Chain is always nuked, yet produces. FYI, it's low too.
Personally, I'd just fish Lake O, go slow and stay in channels.

Sorry, but what do you mean by "Nuked"?

The FWC brain trust sprayed and sprayed and sprayed the lake repeatedly. Now all that is left is a mudhole. Absolutely no offshore grass. Unfortunately we Floridian's now have a term for this common practice and it is called "nuked".

I'd suggest listening to this tune from Neil Young whilst reading about all the great things Bayer™ nee:Monsanto™ does..
