    More Solix G2 Delays

    Not sure what went wrong, but it appears there is another delay on the release of the next generation Solix. Tackle Warehouse now shows the anticipated arrival to be March 7th. It was originally supposed to arrive at the start of December and has been delayed several times since.

    I wouldn't rely on that. C / S told me yesterday they are still scheduled to ship this month.

    It could be that they have already sold their first shipment of units and they are taking orders for future shipments.

    The reason for the delay is that HB has pulled all their outstanding techies off this project to work on resolving depth issues with the Helix G2 Units. That's my story and I'm sticking with it

    I know we haven't seen the new or next Gen release of Solix, but do the current Solix units have the same issue with Depth Jump as the Helix Mega?

    It is my understanding that both Helix and Solix units have that same problem.

    Humminbird is not the only ones having sonar issues with new units and software, especially in shallow water.

    Could you elaborate? I don't read every post but I do browse BBC Garmin, Humminbird, and Lowrance. Lowrance had a recent issue with the time and Garmin gets complaints on SI detail, but on 2d it seems that the Lowrance people thinks theirs is best and the Gamin people think theirs is best.
