Wiping down the black plastic in my boat....

I know it’s been discussed before, but what’s everyone using? Gonna start detailing my and getting ready for the upcoming tourney season. The black plastic isn’t faded, just water stained and dirty. Thanks

303 us good, it's kinda expensive tho. A silicon spray is good also, keeps the plastic soft and protects from elements.

Great on any plastic or vinyl surface. Great on vinyl seat skins keeps them soft and slick. Caution on using on a butt seat. I almost slid off into the drink.

I use Mothers Back to Black on my plastic trim to remove and prevent oxidation and grime.

Tire foam...spray it on a paper towel then wipe it onto black plastic. My dash panel will be 20 years old come February 2019. For the last 20 years all the black trim has been detailed with tire foam. My dashboard and all other black plastic trim on my boat looks better than boats that are only a couple years old. All the letters/writing on my rocker switches are plain to read. Black plastic trim is all I put tire foam on, everything else gets Bass Boat Saver. I will add my boat has been garaged kept since day one but it also has over 1200 hours of runtime so it is not a garage queen.

You kin git stuff at the local big box auto parts store. I've used the Mother's and it's good.

Worth every penny, a little goes a long way. My brother and I bought our boats (same) in 2001. He used 303 from day one on his seats, I didn't. My seats self destructed about five years ago, his look like new. Both boats are garage kept and used about the same amount of times a year. It is really worth it. I also use it on my trucks bed cover. The truck is a 2000 and the cover looks like new too.

I went with the mothers back to black. My boats still fairly new so the plastic wasn’t to bad. The mothers did an excellent job and I will continue to use it. Thanks for all the input.
