    Helix vs. Solix

I know it’s been asked but any new opinions? I am looking at new boat and they have one with solix and one with helix. I currently have solix and had nothing but trouble with them on depth ranges. I feel it’s been more of a install issue but wanted other opinions. Thx in advance!

Both series have the same depth issues. Both will be fixed via software update. It could be an installation issue for you, but there seems to be a lot with the same issues. Pick which one you prefer.

Just scroll through all the past topics and you will see several discussions about it.

Good point. I would guess the year issue of the units already installed on the boats would determine if the depth issue is present since the OP did not state exactly what models they are and what software versions they have.
Currently there are three Helix versions: first generation, G2/G2N, and G3/G3N.
Currently there is the first generation SOLIX and due out soon a G2 version.

I bet there is an issue with everyone of them. Several G3 Helix and G2 Solix have already been sold but know one has posted anything.
