    30 h.p.Evinrude high speed miss

    30 h.p. Evinrude G4398864 is number on freeze plug.Starts on first or second pull,idles perfect in gear or in neutral but in gear with throttle open about midway on rpms it misses on 1 cylinder. Back off the throttle it idles fine hit it again same thing.Gas is fresh even put in new plugs and same thing.Thanks,Ronnie

    Be more of a help to us if you had the model number, serial number isn't much help. There should be a tag on the left side of the mounting bracket. But I'd look at rebuilding the carb.

    Sounds like the mid orificies are clogged...as Champ said....rebuild carbs and make sure ALL orifices are CLEAN !
