After 36 years it was time to go! I will miss the people I worked with and some of the work I did but not the administrutia and corporate drivel! Freedom is here!

Enjoy it, I clocked out of the norm at 49yrs old 3yrs ago. Health reasons for me but I'm making the most of the freedom and no clock life that I can. Do all you want, when you want.

Congrats! Retirement is everything you think it will be and more.

Welcome to the club and don't let anybody lure you back to work....Once you ignore them for a year or so they usually give up.

Congrats! I’m 53 work days behind you for 36 years on the job and planning to be done then.

2010 was my last year. I stay busier than I want most the time. This is the time of year I catch up on things inside the house or the shop. My kids always have me rebuilding or repairing things.

    Congrats on the retirement

To many people do that! Don't wait. When you can relatively comfortable do it. How many people do you know that have
died before they retired. You earned it now enjoy it.
