Boys, I broke down and joined the club. I fished around in the wife’s pocket boot, found my nuts, and got me a new toy. Had a tr21, then a Z7, and now this zx250. So far, it’s been an awesome boat that fishes very well and is ridiculously easy to drive. Jumps on pad faster than both of those boats too and has great storage.

Gotta add this. I almost bought a new nitro z21, but they wouldn’t do anything on price or swapping out stuff for higher components. It was actually 3 grand more than this.

I'm amazed it drives so we'll...word around here is they ain't all that and going by the picture your looks like it would be a handful...maybe two...

They are nice boats...very little input needed...handle rough water very well...may be a few mph slower than the triton but you won't have to work the wheel in order to drive it...and that Yamaha will save you a ton on oil consumption..hit you hard once a year for an oil change...but no more 2 stroke mess to deal with...

Only boat I’ve ever driven with one hand. So far, it’s been great. Fishing good in some of the thickest vegetation in America. Was concerned about how the Yamaha would do in the shallow grass, but it’s surpassed all my expectations. Been able to jump in in 2 ft of thick hydrilla.

    You’re welcome.

I have a 2016 ZX225 and love the way it handles....congrats and welcome to the family....after a bit of saddle time try a direct u-turn at 60 mph-65 mph with no throttle let off... one hand over the other and thru till till your going the other direction of which you came from...just make sure your passenger is ready for it! I have owned a lot of boats over my years and the bug tops the cake in many directions...

I don’t have the stones for that. I did that accidentally in a triton once. Not fun.

I was actually looking at and about to pull the trigger on one with lime green accents and poles. I really liked it, but didn’t figure it would sell well when the time came. A couple different boys down here from Tennessee loved it. I definitely like the colors.
