    Lax restaurants

Any recommendations for a decent restaurant in La Crosse? We have the state high school ice fishing tournament there in a few weeks and just want a decent place to take my students for a team meal.

North County Steak Buffet!! Cheap and the food is surprisingly not bad at all. Even the steak is decent for the money. I go here when I'm up here ice fishing and just want to chow down after a long day on the ice.

Tournament was rough for our team. Hard to get around with over a foot of snow on the ice and 10 kids who didn't want to really move since it was -20 in the morning. We ended up in 31st place out of 92 teams. We went to North country steak buffet Thursday night. Kids enjoyed it even though there was a half hour wait

Yeah, I heard the conditions down there that weekend were less than ideal. That being said, top 1/3 isn't too bad I guess.
