    2018 520c Setup Question?

I have a 2018 520c w/ 250 Pro XS and I am curious if any of you guys that raised the jackplate from the factory setting to the 2.25 P2P height had to raise the motor 6" or 7" to achieve? I'm new at this and just seems like a lot of height, I have 6" manual slidemaster and I'm not certain it has that much travel?

    Thanks in advance!

Something isn't right there. I assume it's the factory 8" slide master. What holes are the motor bolts in? Take a picture would help.

You need to review your P2P measurements.
2.25" seems reasonable depending on your prop ...... but there is no way you should be needing to make a 6" or 7" jack-plate adjustment (which is not possible)
Make sure hull is level, outboard is separately level and your garage floor is not sloping.

Factory setting is around 3.5” ptp, so that much travel definitely is not right. I suspect an aftermarket jack plate installation or incorrect measurement.

You are correct! Embarrassingly as it is to admit, I was pulling measurement incorrectly. Thanks for the feedback!

    No embarrassment necessary !
When you are splitting hairs in 1/4" increments, measuring the P2P is not as easy as it would seem to record correctly.
My garage floor slopes 3/8" from below the prop to below the pad..... took me a while to figure that out !!
