    518L or 519

So there have been a few recent comparisons between the two, seems the difference in price to go to 519 is less than $5,000, but to get to 519L is $10,000
So which boat would you pick and why?
At some point I will have to make a decision but I would have a hard time deciding. My goal would be 519L but damn! $$$$$$

Whats the difference between the 519 and 519L that makes it $5000 more then just the 519??

Price the 519 with the options you want and then decide.

I did compare them and the 518 L fit my present needs completely, the 519 on a single axle would have fit my garage but I did not want to have any regrets if I ordered the 519 without all the goodies on the L version. Moral of the story is yhat everyone has different wants and needs get what makes you happy.

Sure would be nice to know what prices others are getting quoted. I just priced a 519 and 518L. 3800.00 price diff between the two.

That's just about the difference I was quoted.

You know my opinion from the other thread. The only other thing I’ll say is if you get the tricked out 18-footer, in the end you’ll still have an 18-foot boat. If you get the basic 19-foot boat you’ll have a 19-foot boat and you can add most of the stuff later. If you want the 19-foot boat and get the 18, you’ll always wish somewhere in the back of your mind that you had got the 19.

Own 18 footer, but will trade for 19 footer as soon as possible.

You need to look at your lakes that you fish also. If fishing bigger lakes I would get the bigger boat. Like
was mentioned you can add as extras later. Good luck with your decision.

Length is length, however not all same sized boats are rated for same HP's.

Bought a 119 and would buy a 519 again in a heartbeat. There are definitely standards on the 519L I wouldn’t mind having but none of the are really necessary. I would however really like to have a livewell pumpout.

Fished out of both and hands down I would pick the 519.

518 L. I would rather have the shorter boat with all the bells and whistles. I am by myself 95% time though so I don't need the extra length.

519 No. Doubt. About. It. The only guys who would say the 518 are the guys who have the 118/518’s or smaller ... That is not a dig or a burn but I think it’s pretty close to the truth.

I did some messing around with build pricing....tried to get exact same options on the boats best I could.

    518L- $60,000
    519- $66,000
    519L- $72,000

I have run several 518's and now I have a 119c (519) the 518 is a great boat, but the little bit more room of the 519 will be something you will appreciate in your first ride! Love the 519 hull!

I would want a duel axel trailer for the 19 footer for sure.
Would not have to have high end graphs and ultrex trolling motor.
Those items could be up graded later.
    No extra custom paint.
What I mean is rig one out more in your price number.
Get the hull, motor and trailer then upgrade later.
My buddy has a 19’ Comanche and it’s sweet.
