2003 193 transducer placement
Where do you put your thru hull transducer? Looks like i have to move pumps out of the way as the gas tank covers most everything else.

If you have the horseshoe shaped tank, the oil res, batteries and charger have to come out. There is a cover under them. If you have a rectangular tank in the center of the compartment, it has to come out. I've never seen a 2003 193, so can't really tell you for sure.

My batteries are in the side compartments in the back. There is a wooden board with the battery charger on it resting on the horseshoe shaped tank. I don't see any plate. So I guess I need to take the whole tank out then? Doesn't look too bad to do

What about a Total scan transducer? Will it work on the underside of the back step?

For the thru hull I was able to move pump hoses without taking things apart. Put the transducer right near the bilge pump. Still trying to figure out where to put the total scan transducer
