    Acorns or similar

    Anyone ever used this app or something similar. Supposedly rounds up purchases to the nearest dollar and puts the excess in your investment accounts.

    Was researching Acorns yesterday actually - I think the biggest hit is that you have a monthly service charge of $1 if you have <$5000 in your account. If all you're doing is rounding up spare change, the math I saw pointed out that if you were contributing ~$12 a month via purchases (48 purchases at an average of $.25 contributed), that $1 eats up 8% of your monthly donation.
