    Seeing Bedding Activity

I’ve fished some small ponds the last few days and they’re bedding pretty hard in a few of the ponds. The males were guarding the beds and I watched 2 females in the 7-9lb range do their egg laying sideways swimming in circles dance. It was very cool to watch, no I didn’t interrupt them or try to catch them.

Not sure what the next 2 nights being in the 30’s will do but it was good to watch!

I watched a spawn a few years back. Was pretty cool the male and female were changing from light to dark. never seen that before. I let them be.
