I believe it is the yacht Steve Jobs was having this built but he passed away before it was finished. Saw an article on it after he passed.

Most folks who have that kind of money do borrow. They make more money keeping theirs and paying a lower interest rate. Plus the risk is on the bank or institution if they fail on payments. Its a lower risk strategy for the borrower.

Let me use your money for the toys, ill use mine to make more money. Rich dad, poor dad.

The article said he is worth 6.8 billion so I guess he can afford it. He could give me a million and never know it was gone.

Great to see wealthy people spending money. That is what makes the world go 'round. Just think of how many people, how many industries, were involved in the design, build, transportation of parts, the list goes on. Bet it put a lot of food on a lot of tables. My career was spent building houses for some of the wealthiest people around and I always got a kick out of my workers who bashed the wealthy for having money. Hey, your working on a house worth millions of dollars and it's feeding you and your family...what's the problem? They are the job creators. Without them none of us would sitting around tapping keys on our computers bragging about buying everything with cash.

The next time someone around you starts to bash the wealthy just ask them if they ever worked for anybody who has less money then them. Hmmmmm.

Link is to an article in an English newspaper and it appeared that the boat was built in Holland. Guessing he'll have to pay some import duty on it?

While the article said that the boat was completed in Dec. '18, I'd bet there's a lot of interior, mechanical, and electrical work still needing to be completed before it's ready for a trans-Atlantic voyage. I'd bet ol' Jer won't be aboard for that, especially if it happens during Winter. It'll look great on LOZ, huh?
