    Cliff Kingsbury

Just heard he's going to the Arizona Cardinals. Don't really know what to think about this move.

I heard he was interviewing with them tomorrow but was in the process of interviewing with the Jets today and may not make it to the Arizona interview.

Can’t be much worse than they had. He seems like he knows his offense. Be a nice change for the cardinals. lol

From a distance it seems that Arizona might be a bit of a dumpster fire right now. If they get him some weapons and actually lets him coach it might be good. The game is changing right now more like the college game since the days of the dropback passer are going away in college ball.

As an NFL fan I admit I would rather see a young guy get a shot than the same old, same old retread HCs that keep getting shots despite never doing very well. Gonna be interesting to watch.

There are a LOT of folks (me, included) who would like to see Leach back at the helm in Lubbock.

Next few days/weeks could be interesting.

This kinda makes sense since Arizona has the young QB Josh Rosen. Kingsbury has a pretty good track record with young QB's.

remind again what his record was at Texas Tech? why would he do any better in the NFL...pretty sure he coached Mahomes in college and had a losing record...

He was head coach at Tech not A&M.

Interesting , probably make a better NFL coach than college coach, especially with NFL offense trending as it is

I'm still searching for official conformation on the story and haven't seen it yet. Surely Kingsbury's agent wouldn't leak false news in order to get a deal done. Peter Schrager from Fox Sports broke the story at noon today.

He lost in Lubbock because his defense was pathetic, they could never get a stop. He is an offense guy, Maziel, mayfield, Mahomes and several receivers in the NFL.

New President, Chancellor and A.D. at Tech since the fiasco with the James beotches...

It may not happen, ever... but I never say never.

Beyond that, I think Norvell (Memphis) would be a great choice.

I bet Hue Jackson just breathed a big sigh of relief when he heard this news today. Baker Mayfield now has a new worst enemy to focus on next season. ...and yes they will see each other next year.
