    Sam Rayburn Lodging?

Does anyone have any recommendations for cabins at Sam Rayburn? I searched google and it looks like there are several to choose from.

While not a cabin, we have stayed at Lakeview Motel. It is a small place but the ladies keep the rooms extremely clean and the food in the cafe is great! It is on 147 and is less than 5 min from Casells Boykin.

Check Powell Point... Have a range from bare bones to better than average. Ramp right there, a store and restaurant... Dan

Bassbuster Inn now called Rayburn Inn. Close to a very good and large boat ramp that is totally protected from the wind (The Pavilion)and also close to the Stump restaurant. Very reasonable prices.

Not sure, I've never been there before. We normally try to stay around one of the larger local ramps or midlake.

If you dont know the lake and it isnt still high I would check out Powell park. Its central and a short drive (10minutes) to a couple other ramps if the wind is blowing. Plus that area of the lake is mostly clear of stumps. Not much out there but they have a little marina where you can rent a slip and a pretty decent restaurant with gas and other stuff. Plus a big beach area with slides and stuff if you go in the summer. It's a nice campground

May need to include this into your plans. Ramps being closed by the Corp due to high lake levels.
