Cool find at Dale this weekend

Fishing was kinda tough for us, but did find this piebald buck dead that had been shot. Not a monster but a very cool looking deer. Someone was prolly mad they couldnt find it.

Lots of deer lost to Blue Tongue as well this past fall. That would have been a good looking mount!!

Very sad. When shot, if not immediately fatal they take off running if possible. It's said their lungs feel like they're burning and they run to water where many perish after trying to drink.

Human lungs have no pain sensors, only a cough reflex. Most hard hit deer who are still able to run, generally head downhill. That would put them at a source of water.

Well I've seen shot deer when canoeing, of course I would see them in and by the water dead, but there were quite a few.
