If ND had one loss this season, they would not have made it into the playoffs.

Why wouldnt they? The committee is in place to make CFB and the NCAA the most amount of money. They absolutely would be in before GA with a one loss record. You're kidding yourself if you dont think so.

I've said from the beginning the Committee got it right this year. All they really had to do was choose Clemson and Bama and that would have been enough. ND and Oklahoma deserved to play in the CFP. Clemson would have spanked any team in the top 20 this year. No one really should be spouting off except Clemson..

Really? Bama looked worse against Clemson and last week all the Homer's said Notre Dame shouldn't have made the playoffs after the beating Clemson put on them. Hell, Clemson could have scored on their last possession against Bsma if they wanted to run the score up even higher instead of running the clock out. Game sucked, Bama and Notre Dame might have been more even and interesting.

Only way I'll ever believe that is if they pick the final 4 before the conf. champ games.

I don't disagree w/ what you say, but OSU did have a weaker strength of schedule. I also love this thread for the ND haters(and there are a bunch), with all the "they didn't belong talk" w/ no more backing than "it's clear", "no conference", blah,blah, blah. Turns out the Tigers were PRETTY GOOD!

At the time the committee made their choices, OSU were ranked #10 in strength of schedule. Notre Dame was #26.
