    1997 Johnson 200 Venom Battery

I am looking to replace the battery in a new to me 1997 johnson venom 200hp.

I use a lot of electronics including mega imaging and live scope so I wanted to get the strongest battery I can under $200 which was looking likethe Duracell 31 agm at Sam's, but have heard that might not be a good idea.

I've done a little research And just can not find a solid answer. Should I get the agm or just the normal lead acid 31?

    Thanks

I always used a 27 series deep cycle battery when i had a 200 venom. Never had a problem running livewells all day on constant, a helix 10 and 2 helix 7's all on for the whole day.

The way I interpret his statement is not whether or not the battery can handle the load but if an AGM battery is okay to use as a cranking battery on his particular motor. If that is the question then I do not know the answer.

If the question is can the battery handle the load you will be putting it under then list the battery specifications so we know what the ratings are.

Let me check but I think I have that same Duracell 31 battery from Sam's club and I have a 98 Venom 200 with two Garmin graphs, radio and I havent had a problem at all.
I know I marked the date on the battery and I think I got it in 2016.
Will have to check tonight when I get home if you want to know.
