If your car has traction control you may have to turn it off.

Snow isn't bad. Keep an eye out for freezing rain and black ice. Watch other vehicle tires when they pass you, if you don't see spray coming off them the road is starting to freeze over.

Just slow down and don't be that other guy that causes the accident. Slush is bad news I prefer to drive on ice than slush. Cj

Ha! Easy for you to say. Even with Manual Mode selection on most newer vehicles, very few drivers will DARE to touch their shifter, except for P-D and (only when they have no other choice), R!

Stay out of the way, don't block the passing lane, and don't put a death grip on the steering wheel

No it’s not actually in the mountains. Weather in the mountains and Marion is different. Marion is not high enough up in elevation to get weather like they do in the mountains.

From Florida, driving in snow——- how to install tire chains video.

Dont forget, you aren’t in Florida—— don’t change lanes in front of anyone, DONT tailgate.

Remember the truckers creed —— Lead——- Follow—- or get the F*** out of the way.

Momentum is your friend, your brakes are not...

Just don't be the guy in the ditch saying "You can drive 60 in this stuff, I don't understand what happened." Go slow and steady and the brakes are not your friend.

This. I laugh my ass off when every vehicle in the ditch is a 4wd. These rednecks around here will never admit that the false security 4wd gave them is the reason they're in the ditch while 2wd's putt on by without issue. I'm also referring to the ice we get down here most of the time.
