Hi got a 2017 19 trx 225 xs 2 stroke dual 8ft blades and 112 ultrex. Currently running a 24p fury at 5600-5650 rpms. Wondering if anyone tried a 24p tempest or even a fury 4? I’d like to get the rpms up into that 5800-5900 range.

Jump up to the 25 Fury. That's what I've got on my 19SE, basically same setup as well (blades, fortrex) to hit the RPM's you want.

Sounds like your engine may be a little low. Going to a 25 Fury will drop your rpms another 150-200
Would also make sure your hotfoot is adjusted so that your engine is getting the throttle completely open. I believe the instructions are in the FAQ over in the Merc 3 Liter forum.
Hotfoot is adjusted correctly, it has been verified on the computer that I’m getting 100%. I did raise the motor a little this past summer (.25 inch) and I didn’t gain any rpms all that happened was the prop would blow out on the hole shot more
If the engine blows out coming out of the hole with your engine trimmed all the way down you are a little too high.
JJ I guess my question is am I chasing something unattainable with my setup? I’m only getting 5650-5700 max rpm at 71-72 mph when not a heavy load. If I’m too high then how do I get my rpms up? Think I’ll gain more buy having croxton tweak the 24p fury?Im looking to get a little more out of it , I feel there’s more in the boat.
Croxton can make anything run, just let him know what you are looking for in terms of performance.
Croxton can get you the results out of the prop you have, just let him know what you are trying to achieve in performance. He is the prop master.
