Did you or do you know if this pump is safe to extract if your sho is "making oil" ..meaning having fuel mixed in?

SIM Yamaha has the Mity Vac extractor and additional adapter needed for the SHO. When i purchased it it was just a section of black rubber hose that fits over the mity vac tubing and fits on the dipstick tube.

    Pump

    Adapter for SHO

No electricity so is relatively safe to pump oil with fuel mixed in. Use at your own caution but I have pumps a good amount of fuel oil mix with no problems.

Is the mighty vac from sim Yamaha one that you pump by hand or can you hook to an air compressor?

Why not just drain it? Just did an oil change this week and it was pretty quick and easy.

Hand pump. Takes about 15 seconds to build the vacuum, then just let it draw the oil out.

No need for Tim the Tool Man Taylor 400hp quad drain dual pump express.

This is the one I use on my 250 SHO. I've used it two or three times now and it works well.

I was using our big air powered extraction pump. The good side it took like 30 secs. The bad side it was hard to back the trailer to where we had it. So I bought one of those cheap electric oil extractors, maybe $25. Works well enough, a little loud and slow but easy and clean.

I use that Amazon one. Works great. Word of warning though, don’t turn it over or upside down. If you do oil will shoot out the front b
