We are proud to add another impressive model to the AVX Series, the AVX2180cc. At 20’7” in length, it’s built for a wide range of salt, brackish, and freshwater ventures. The 2180cc will make its public debut this weekend at the Historic Houston Boat at the NRG Center. You can find more information, photos, and start designing your own on vexusboats.com.

I certainly hope the rep who comes to the show is more knowledgable and informative than whomever it is that they have answering emails for them. Looking forward to seeing the 2180CC in person

I don't think so. The measurements between the two boats is only 5" difference so its basically the same boat as the 2080. If the 2180 was truly a 21" boat then I would say yes.

Seems like it could carry a 225hp rating. I dont understand these manufacturers anymore. We used to stick a 150 on a 17 foot boat. Now its an 18 foot boat and they are slower than molasses. A boat this size benefits from HP

I would suspect that the lower HP rating of many boat brands has to do more with lawyers than with the structural integrity of the hull or its design.

I know of one 17' boat out there rated for 150hp. Actually it's 17'7" and it will run.

They used to be all over the place. Now a 17 foot boat has a 115 on it. My dad Had a Ranger 350V with a GT 150 on it and that thing would scoot pretty good. I believe it was 17’10”

Two quality boats that have been around for a long time.
