    Where to Wacky

Caught a ton of fish on a wacky rigged senko last year, to me it has more drawing power than just about any bait out there. I just don't think they can resist it if you put it in front of them but with that said I really only caught them around shallow cover. Im wanting to fish it around more places and types of cover (im not a big dock fisherman) but is there a place for the wacky rig off the bank anywhere??

I’ve caught them in 15feet or so when my partner was using a drop shot. I like a light flick Shake or wacky rig but if he’s going to be on spot lock I have the time. I think wacky rigging works best when it has a little bit of fall room,I have caught them in really shallow water but like a little fall with that technique.

Don't forget about a Neko rig for deeper water. The worm does drop head down (if that is where you have the weight), but you still get wacky rig action when lifting the bait.

A weightless worm challenges my patience due to its slow drop once I hit 10' or so of water. I can fish the Neko rig much faster in deeper water. Plus is gets through weed edges better than a wacky weightless rig.

Anywhere any depth. Floating docks and bluffs are my favorite

Top water weed mats or thick slop in place of frogs

    4 places for me.

    1) plinking holes a follow up to a FROG. (YES you are going to bring back a ton of weeds)
    2) weedline edges that are due to depth changes example 6 feet drop to 12.
    3) 5 feet sporadic emergent weed. Windward side of clumps or in pockets.
    4) Skipping docks...

I don't bed fish but if I did.....

different stick worms "senko" types have different fall rates that shouldnt be dismissed. a strike king ocho is my goto but if they are deeper I switch it up to a heavier yamamoto senko for a faster fall rate...there are other stick worms that are heavier with different actions...try a few and figure out your combinations for a fishing knockout.

Looks like you can see where someone has been working a frog. A great place for some big ole bass!

A wacky-rigged 3" (or bigger...whatever) Senko works well on a DS rig (just pull it up let it fall to the bottom...the bait, not the weight). Even under a bobber for "float n' fly" (which I haven't tried).
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.
