I’m kicking around a Talon or 2 on my 211, I have the 10” Manual Hydrodynamic plate. I’m stupid when it comes to this so forgive me, but what type of mounts for the Talons does this type of plate require? Is it a sandwich style mount or is there a plate specific mount?

It's the Jackplate mounting bracket that you need.

I’m about to do the same with a 12 inch hydrodynamics jackplate. Do you guys brace the motor with a jack when taking bolts out?
I did the sandwich bracket on both my Legend, and Triton. lower the motor and brace it with wood. Back out all four bolts but do not remove. Starting with the top bolt on one side remove it and slide the bracket in place. Put the bolt an nut back on but backed out. Repeat process on other three. Then button her up. There might be a faster way but I've done it on two of mine and two buddies and it works perfectly.
Why the sandwich bracket? I used the Jackplate bracket on my 12" Bob's.
