I agree with the about. I bought mine last year from Russell Marine and it was the best deal that I had found.

    BBC Sponsors are always good.

Also, while not a board sponsor, they are fairly local to you. Check into Brown’s Outboard in Glencoe, AL. They do installations too.

+1 on BBG marine. Best price I found, but the service is what sold me.

If you get a chance, give me a call. Can ship to your door and, as an ASC for MinnKota, can help you with service after the sell.

I think that the Ultrex falls under MAP pricing...in short, legal industry wide price fixing. I bought my MK from John Jones and there's no doubt that I'd buy from him again. His service is second to none!

MAP stands for Minimum Advertised Pricing. Meaning a dealer can not publically post a price for less then that MAP price set by Johnson Outdoors. Dealers can sell for whatever price they like. Why some dealers have better deals then others. Thought I would clear up what MAP pricing is. Dealers found to be in violation of MAP rules are subject to dealer revocation. All BBC sponsors would be more then happy to quote you.

Thanks for the clarification. If dealers are willing to sell below MAP pricing, that's a different story.
