    Lake Kissimmee water level

There was a letter circulated around the Lake Kissimmee area for people to call FWC Bill Graff at 407-858-6100x3837 about the low water in the lake and the locks at hwy 60 were still open. It looks like it did some good because the lake has held it's level since the last rain. I will call tomorrow and thank him. The water was at march level..

I spoke to Bill Graff yesterday. He said they released a foot of water from Toho and the locks are slightly open at 60. A foot of water does not sound like much but along with the last rain it did help. I mainly called to thank him for not dumping Kissimmee as I had already had to take my boat off of my lift due to low water which I normally do not have to do until march or april. He was very responsive and said to call anytime we had any questions. Bill Graff 407-858-6100x3837 SFWMD..

I was just up there fishing the North end out of the State Park, and the water level was pretty high. Dirty as hell, but high.

I am headed up thee in about 3 weeks. Should I be concerned running the lake?

    Today's report.
Level is a lot higher, than 2-3 months ago at minus 2.75+ ft compared to today's minus .97.
Water is still semi dirty( as of last outing 2 weeks ago.)
