I never fished there, is fishing for bass any good? Don’t plan to go until spring of early summer but haven’t heard much about the lake so just asking how it is down there.

It can be a decent spring lake but if the waters low, just know there’s a reason the lake is known as “wop your prop” and “proppapello”.

When I was a younger idiot, I almost found out the hard way about staying in the channel markers there. If I recall correctly, above Chaonia, there are no more marker buoys.
