    Goals for 2019

    Anybody setting any fishing goals for this year? I've got three I would like to reach
    1 Catch a double digit bass out of the Trout Pit.
    2 Catch a 3lb. crappie in S.E. Ks.
    3 Fish 200+ days (shouldn't be to hard, retired and 2 miles from closest water).
    I will be happy with 2 out of the 3

    Unless you buy a boat, you don't have to worry about beating me. Unless we both get to the Nationals, then you might have to beat me.

    1. Spend a minimum of 15 days on the water with my kids. Especially my daughter...I think she likes to fish even more than me.
    2. Get all the planned upgrades done to my boat.
    3. REALLY explore a couple new pieces of water.
    4. Get better at two new techniques (for me). A Jerk Bait and a swim bait. I SUCK at both...

    So the trout pit has double digit bass in it ? I used to fish that pit in my college days back in the 80's.

    Break the State Record on Brown Fish; lord knows I been trying and came up 5/100 oz short Dec 2016 and a few oz short 3 other times over the past few years. Is that to much to ask for ??

    Awesome, always just fished the bank down on the one end by the road...caught the heck out of trout....will have to get my two man down there and give it another stab....get back to my roots of my beginnings in hardcore fishing. I think I spent more time outdoors down there then I did in class while I was down in those parts.

    Well the results are in;
    1 6lb7oz was the best I could do
    2 3lb. crappie NO. I did catch a few
    3 Winner...237, 238 if I go today
    After all is said and done it was a good year. Caught a lot (well I caught) fish and had a lot of quality time on the water.
