To me, it looks like loose bolts in the video. The top cap is sticking to the jackplate and the JP is pulling away from the transom when you bounce it. JP shouldn't be pulling away unless the washers inside are pulling through the transom (or loose).

Are you sure the threads on the bolts didn't get marred, making it seem like they are tight when they aren't?

Bolts arent loose, it is the entire transom flexing

I am dropping it off to a local dealer and it is being shipped back to ranger. More than likely they are going to try to fix it again. Forgot to mention that it is flexing enough that it has cracked the area where the flotation pod meets the rear compartment on the port side.

Why is that amazing? The boat has a lifetime warranty. They should take it back and make it right. I know they will. Ranger has been great to me over the years.

I am too far from Ranger, I am in eastern NC. They are gonna pick it up the next time the dealer has boats dropped off.

Yes they cut the splashwell out last time and removed the transom from inside the boat, built a new transom and glassed it in. I am guessing they are going to try to do this again. I don't know. Will update this post when I hear something.

One would think that after all the time, labor, and materials they've put into this boat, with no guarantee it won't happen a third time, that it would more cost efficient to just replace the hull. Plus they'd likely make a real happy customer.

I whole heartedly agree LOL....I would hope that they would replace the hull, I think there are other issues with the boat causing the problems, but I’m not an expert. I sent a pretty detailed email to Mike C. today stating problems, and asking for them to stay in touch with me on the situation. Hopefully hear something soon.

Wow! Just noticed this post has almost 5,000 views... that’s a lot of impressions for Ranger from one post. Hopefully they make it right.

Ranger picked my boat up from dealer almost 2 weeks ago, sent an email last week to check on status, haven't heard anything. Sent another today.

Maybe a well written letter to JM is in order...I bet it would get attention.
