Looking for recommendations for McGee creek around middle of March

Wanting to take grandson and son-in-law to McGee creek around March 17 for few days of bass fishing.
we will be fishing out of a grizzly boat only electric trolling motors(no big motor)
any recommended places to stay close to lake would be great.
    fishing for a couple days.
best to places to fish that time of year without having to travel on water very far would be great also.
    thanks
and Happy new year to all.

The park also has some cabins right on the lake. They're very basic, bunk bed, fireplace, window AC and a table. Bath house close by. The store mentioned above is about 5 minutes away as well.

That place looks nice. Might have to stay there this spring for a few days!

I stayed there in October. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean, 5 minutes from the boat ramp, and has covered boat parking with charging outlets. Make sure you bring plenty of food with you, the nearest town is Atoka, about 25 minutes away.

Yeah, I've been there several times. We stay at the park cabins right on the lake. It's nice to be close, but they're very basic. Great for a "guys" fishing trip, but the "family" would've appreciated a private potty. Lol!

    Thanks for info, Gentleman.
looks like that may be the place.
Is there pretty good fishing in that area, or not far from there?
    Thanks again.

Is that the same place that used to be called Anglers Roost? I stayed there several times and really liked it.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
    Bass.

If I was you first thing I would do is call Chuck Justice 580-889-6742 and spend the money for 1 day of guided fishing or two if you can spend the cash. The guy knows that lake better than anyone hes caught more 10 plus pound fish than probably anyone in the state of Oklahoma has had over the years 4 fish in the top ten and is a real cool guy.( well worth the money ) Even if you dont or cant spend the money on a guided trip he can and will be helpful and give you some tips. As for tips for that time of year it really depends on the water temp. But odds are they will be in spawn or right at it. Mcgee can be a tough at times Its my most hated lake in Oklahoma and my favorite at the same time!

Do the cabins at Little Pine RV park have restrooms? Showers? Kitchen?
