What is the best 4 blade prop for a Ranger 521c?

Looking at a Bravo or Fury 4. Any help appreciated.

24 fury 4 on a 2 stroke, 23 on the new 4 stroke. The bravo doesn't have enough lift to get the bow up on a 521 as flat as they run

I run a Bravo 1xs on my 521 a 27p and 28p and both have plenty of bow lift. I wish youtube wouldn't have pulled my video running the 28p bravo it can really prove how much lift you can get out of a 521.

I don’t have a 521 but i do run a 520vx and I’ve tried all the popular 4 blades out there and have even got advise from Master Ranger setup Ghostcomanche and the best prop I’ve ever had on my boat it the Fury4. Fury 4 is a pig on some boats but as far as a Ranger goes I have had excellent results and the next in line was a Croxton Razor 4XL WHICH i think had a little better holeshot but best all around performace was the Fury 4. Bravo XS and the Bravo FS did not have the mid range performance of my Fury 4. The fury4 is like the best of both worlds. Excellent hole shot and excellent speed over any 4 blade on. Ranger hull and a Trophy don’t even come close to any of them. I believe i was the first Ranger to post results on the Ranger forum with the Fury4. Rothwell marine was one of the first to receive shipment when the fury4 came out and I purchsed it before they even had a chance to get it off the pallet. So imop hands down on my 520 it is the best prop ever

Used to run a 2006 Z21 w 250 pro xs and a 12inch slidemaster w hole shot plate. I found the Bravo XS 8 pvs holes but getting the right motor height is crucial as well.

I run a 25.5 Bravo 1XS on my Ranger and after I added the Ultrex I lost lift. I have a 24p Bravo 1XS I'll be getting rid of to get another to try. Something that will give lots of lift.

Gotta ask what motor and hp you are running to turn a 28bravo well on a 521. I'd think even the verado would have a very tough time with its lower gears on a 521 based on my experience and testing on a much lighter hull
Where are the BIG ones? When are we going?

Its a worked motor, lab finished props, or he's not turning any rpms. No way is someone turning a 27 or 28 Bravo on a 521 with a 250.
I have a 27 on my Phoenix 721 and it's a touch too much for it tourney loaded

I have a 2014 Z520C w/ 250 Evinrude etec HO and I turn a 27 bravo 1 xs to 5750-5800 in 85 degree weather with 2 guys tourney load. I turn a 26P raker 2 and 26P fury 3 to 6100 and I have the interface cable readout on my HDS 12 coming from the motor so the rpms are accurate.

Sorry I just saw the question about running a 28p bravo on a 521 and yes it's true and the engine is an 04 mercury 250xs. 75.8 gps at 5600 rpm only in the cooler months. I run a 27p bravo or 27p tempest the warmer months.
