Is it unrealistic to think about trading guitars?

I've got a 1950's reissue Gibson SJ200 that was made in 2000. I really love it , but due to an accident I had years ago,I'm having nerve problems in my hands and in my shoulder. I've played a Martin 00028 Eric Clapton model acoustic and a Martin D28 Golden Era. They have a V neck and 1 3/4" nut width and it's a lot more comfortable to play. Id really like to trade someone for one, but I guess I'm gonna have to try and sell it outright. I was told at a local music store that I shouldn't take no less than $3,000. Does anyone here have one they'd like to trade?
