Ol E Tec finally popped !!!

My 08 225 HO finally let go on me last week . Local mechanic quoted me $5,700.00 to rebuild and I don't think I'm gonna sink that kinda money into this ol motor . It's been a good one with over 600 hrs on it , but probably gonna repower . What do yall think ? What kinda money can be made parting out my old motor ? Been looking at some prices on new motors and WOW , these things are the cost of a cheap vehicle .

10 year factory coverage is in effect right now. It would be a good time to take advantage of the promotion if possible.

I have a 2007 Etec 225 power head, but it has 800 hours on it.
I just put a 2018 G2 on my Ranger last week.
It was a dealer demo motor, got a awesome deal on it, but only 4 years of warranty.
