    Anybody hitting the hotside ?

    Usually make an annual trip while I'm off for the holidays. Anybody know whats the haps ?

    I haven't been since we last fished together. I always end up fishing the cold side.

    Wow, thats a couple years ago. I usually make it between Christmas and New Years, last year that week was frigid cold so I did not make it. Hope to this coming week.

    I'm doing ok. Nothing to complain about. Haven't been fishing in a couple weeks but hope to change that this week. One son home from college and the one in the USCG is coming home the 26th or 27th. Let me know if you ever want to meet up.

    We went, caught a mess of dinks, beautiful day on the water with a good friend. One big fat crappie was bigger than most of the bass we caught.

    Was pretty good 2 weeks ago when I was there. Water temp on pool 1 was 69 degrees. Caught about 2 dozen fish on Friday all were pretty fat and healthy. Saturday bite slowed down a little. Only caught 11.

    How are you guys getting access to the hot side of Lake Anna? I thought that was only open to Lake front owners. I'm picking up a new boat next week and I'm sure I'll want to use it. The hot side would be a perfect spot

    The hot side is private with gated ramp sites. You need to "know" somebody to get access.

    I was over there last weekend and the fishing was decent..managed a few on top water so that was a plus :)

    I will be heading down with my brother next month. We started an annual trip to get out of the house. We rent a nice house on the hot side, eat like kings, drink some adult beverages and just unwind. First trip we took was 30mph wind and a high of 37, still had a great time and caught a few also. Everything in PA is frozen.
