No power pole goes to 10', talons go to 15'

Clearly HALF the weight for HALF the depth unless your saying there are 15 footers from power pole now?
I was comparing similar height models to similar height models.. and no Power Pole doesnt make a 15 foot and never will simply no need with the perfection of spotlock trolling motors. Sales on 15 foot Talons have been weak im hearing from several talon dealers. Minn Kota has done such a great job with the ultrex , IMO shallow water anchors should remain SHALLOW 8 to 10 foot max.

I have honestly sold more 10 and 12' talons than 15's by far. The mix of a 10 talon or power pole and the Ultrex is perfect.

FWIW one of the guys in my club put 2 15's on his 361V. It was kind of funny looking, but it worked. He's since upgraded to a 20' Ranger that he inherited, but it did work on the smaller boat.

Thanks for all the replies to this thread. A pair of 12' Talons have arrived at my door.

Your boat will sit transom low.
The low speed handling will change a great deal.
If you want to keep the boat the same one way is to lighten up the load with the small lithium batteries.
This is a note from personal experience
