Has anybody seen or test rode the excel 230 bay boat can't find any reviews on it.
Just curious on how well it handles the rough stuff and how well it fishes with the trolling motor down.

I thought you just bought a new Vexus bayousmallie, already having second thoughts, lol. J/K
no second thoughts my cousin is looking tried to get him to purchase a Vexus but he says he does not want to pay that much.
I'm very happy with the Vexus center console. It will be my last boat I buy.
I have a 203 and love it, but dont see much rough water. My buddy on Kentucky lake has one and is always in rough water. He is a guide and fishes every day. The 230 should be much better.
It looks like the Excel has more freeboard the the Vexus which is never a bad thing. Max 250HP is a big plus also. Is it really cheaper?

for him. thanks
