My Razor Scooter Mount for Fish finders

    Source: Razor scooter A

    Cost: little

Pros: “stain”less quality material, height adjustable, retractable (lie on deck), 360 degree horizontally, 360 degree vertically, fish finder bases/mounts are detachable and exchangeable.

Cons: a little sloppy at the lower rotating part (due to Razor’s design?)

Hopefully you have got a good idea!

    Patent Pending! LOL!

Almost three years now. How is it holding up? I'm considering something like this.

I did a scooter mount on my boat and it's been working great. I lay it down when I run across the lake

Yes, still using the mount today.

I did some change later: I took off the bottom swivel and the lie-flat part, as it’s floppy. Now I only use the two aluminum pipes, installed in a pole-mount from homedepot. The sacrifice is I can’t lay the whole thing flat on deck now. The rest features are still kept!

    Thumbs Up

Nice. I got a 106sv for Christmas, and found a black Razor I'm going to use for the mount. I do want to be able to lay it down. I figure I'll try this before cashing out $300 for a commercial unit .

Quick follow up. I found a black Razor online from Walmart. Got the bridge from Bass Pro. The plastic box is on/off power for the Garmin. The other switch on the box is tilt for the big motor. I need some warm weather to install.

How did you do the printing on the black box?
