    25 Fury 4 on 819

Put this prop on tonight and going to test it this weekend. Have been running 24 3 blade with all plugs open and can hit the rev limiter with just me in the boat. Any suggestions on whether I should plug any of the 8 holes on the new 25 4 blade since it has 8 holes versus the 4 holes on the 3 blade?

Not an expert but I would probably plug half of them. That 4 blade will really bite! Keep us posted I have the same setup and am curious.

Agree with the above, I’d start with half and see how that does. I doubt you’ll need to take any more out with a 4 blade. I have same setup as well but happy with my 24p 3 blade, although I’m close or right at max RPMs in winter.

I'd start with no plugs, then add one at a time. They're a bitch to get out right?

They're a bitch to get out. Hope you have a bunch. I run the three blade and had one plug in when I started out having issues with hole shot. I took it out after getting used to the boat and have no issues - with just me. Haven't run a tourney load yet. I wanna try a four blade this year. I pull kids on a tube from time to time and would like to have one. Was told to try a Bravo.

For a 4 blade, I would say no plugs.

I ended up going no plugs and my motor has no trouble turning it and no blow out. I would say that the holeshot is better but not anything that is blowing me away over the 3 blade. Where it really shines is in the handling. You can turn on a dime with no blowout, it seems like I’m getting a lot more bow lift and the best part seems to be that I’m having to drive the boat a lot less at top end as compared to the three blade. I don’t know why that would be, but the boat isn’t wanting to walk as much. I would say the speed loss is minimal. Maybe 1-2 mph.

That's what I would expect - I run the same prop in a 26 and these are all benefits of the 4 blade. What motor are you running?
