Where to start on pvs plugs

ok guys went down a pitch from a 25 to a 24 to get the rpms up, I usually run one wide open and two large plugs. Anyone gone down a pitch and if so where did you start, I know I will have to play with it just looking for a starting point.

Assuming the 25 pitch was also a tempest, I would start with the same plug configuration as before. Logically a 24 pitch should need less venting than a 25 but you have to start somewhere. If it worked with the 25 it will be close for the 24.

I have the A45 Tempest and they require different plugs than the Tempest Plus.

Regular Tempest plugs can be found here: http://bblades.com/shop/accessories/vent-plug-tempest/

Start with the same venting as previously used.

I would start with the same setup as before but if you are trying to set it up now in the cold air it will change when it warms back up. Right now the 25 should be turning more rpms anyway.

Ok thanks for the offer, to be fair to Brian the cup had prettt well worn down on it when I bought it. Don’t think it’s his work just to much prop for my boat. Not down playing Croxton I hear he’s the best
